Google Invests In Further Development of Drupal

Each year, Google holds it's Summer of Code events - sponsoring students and aspiring developers as they work to create and improve open source products.

This year, Google has confirmed that they will offer over $90,000 in sponsorship funds for 18 Drupal developers. Google's ongoing interest in Drupal, calculated at over $400,000 to date, helps to define Drupal as one of the premier open source tools available.

InterWorks has defined Drupal as its chosen content management system (CMS) and content management framework (CMF) for many reasons. Google's choice to continue to support the framework speaks volumes to the tool's value in today's market.
