Chris Wells

Software Engineer

When Chris got his first computer as a high school graduation gift, the first thing he did was take it completely apart and reassemble it. He’s always been fascinated with how things work and understanding systems by breaking them down into their smaller parts. This fascination has carried over into other areas of his life. Chris also enjoys learning the strategies and tactics involved with a good chess game. He compares the similarity to chess—“Like any other closed system, chess has an established rule schema which must be mastered before the game can be played. Once you learn the rules, you can continue to build on your skill-set.”

At home, he busies himself with construction and remodeling projects, playing the guitar, and training for marathons. His capacity for establishing structure and order in things, evaluating alternatives, and carving out the best path forward enables him to tackle his goals, whatever the pursuit.
