Josh Varner

It's a rare occasion to find Josh away from a keyboard. He's been programming since the age of twelve and started his career writing web applications in 1999. His favorite app is a bash terminal, and you'll usually find five or ten of them open on his machine at any given time. If he's not using Mac OS X, you'll find him on a Linux box somewhere. In addition to his day-to-day work, Josh also contributes to various open source projects and is the maintainer of the PHP support for the popular Mac OS X editor TextMate.
Aside from being a bona fide computer geek, Josh also speaks German, enjoys lightning photography, and is entirely too obsessed with coffee and Radiohead. Josh lives in Stillwater with his wife Kim, who's way cooler than Josh, and their curiously child-like dog Bailey.
