Ryan Boyles

In 2009, Ryan was invited to go to the Central Oklahoma Derby Association’s last bout of the season, and that’s where his interest in supporting the roller derby first began. His friend invited him to go after an invite from one of the coaches because the admissions went to a good cause. “I really enjoy the sport of it. Once you hear the rules, it can seem very simple. However, there are a lot of complexities to it,” Ryan says. He also enjoys that it’s a local team, as he likes to support community efforts.

When Ryan is not watching the roller derby bouts, he’s either spending time near a computer or hanging out with his fiance.
