D+I+Y

InterWorks recognises the challenges the data community faces. That is why we are delighted to announce our fresh contribution to the data community with our new D+I+Y event series, which stands for data, insight and you. Each event will focus on a different aspect of what helps people deliver amazing analytics. We’ll bring in speakers and success stories from the community, vendors and our own consultants to share their experiences (good and bad!) in all things data.

Each D+I+Y event will be a slightly different opportunity to learn best practices, tips and tricks and new technologies. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear encouraging stories from the best in the data community. They’ll help inspire your journey towards delivering successful analytics for your team and organisation. 

What to Expect

Our inaugural D+I+Y event will take place in London on August 8th. Here’s what we have lined up for the first event:

David Solomons, Director of Business Information at Family Mosaic, will walk us through the highs and lows of his data journey and ultimately the way Tableau has revolutionised his business. Similar to a lot of companies with vast and disparate sources of data, Family Mosaic recognised a need to unlock the potential of their data insight. David was blown away by Tableau from the onset and he is excited to share with you the framework of how Tableau supports Family Mosaic’s growth.

David Pires (did we mention he just won Europe’s first Iron Viz this year?) will head up a tips and tricks session intended for beginners through to the more advanced Tableau users.

Afterwards, it’s time to meet up for a little networking with your fellow data enthusiasts over pizza and drinks. After all, what’s an event without food?
