Originally from Lisbon, Portugal, David has been in the UK for over a decade. Having worked for Barclays Bank on their mortgage department. David became a certified mortgage advisor as the 2008 financial crisis hit, meaning a change in direction, which led him to CACI where he succeeded as an analyst, later being responsible for the Tableau deployment of an external service to the majority of banks and building societies in the UK.
Lover of languages David graduated in Spanish and Japanese at the Birkbeck College of London. A self-confessed Japan geek who also loves travelling he may or may not have created a two-week Japan Itinerary in Tableau.
When not travelling, or working, David finds the kitchen a therapeutic space where he likes to try new recipes. David enjoys cooking, but bread baking in particular; there’s something magic about transforming flour, yeast and water into a lovely loaf of bread. Not as active as he should be, David likes to run and cycle to burn off all that bread.
